HMI Project GmbH
HMI Project offers all services to make user-centered interface design and web technology applicable for the ctrlX OS Ecosystem. Optimal usability, a positive user experience and individual UI design are a clear competitive advantage. In addition to the services, HMI Project is also the maker of HELIO, the HMI visualization tool that sets new standards.
User Centered Process
The process begins with an analysis of existing user feedback or the collection of contextual requirements in the field. This is followed by usability optimization through detailed prototyping and testing. Finally, the validated operating concept is rounded off with an individual design that takes each client's brand and corporate design into account.
Usability Optimization
Usability is optimised according to ISO 9241 standards in the form of an iterative process involving users. This enables usability to be statistically evaluated and constantly measured throughout the project. A high level of usability should be the foundation of every project.
Individual Design
The visual design of the user interface is important for making a good first impression, and it can also serve as a unique selling point. The difference lies in the overall aesthetic quality, as well as the style of individual icons, controls, illustrations and data visualizations. Having a team of multi-award-winning designers also helps to elevate the quality of each design.
Advantages:
- Improved usability and ergonomics
- Avoidance of operating errors
- Reduced training- and machine downtimes
- Higher acceptance for new product introductions
- Purchase incentive for decision-makers
Target Groups:
- Machine Builder
- System Integrator
Topology
HMI Project supports the revision of existing HMI applications or the development of new products. The service can be provided completely independently of the HMI tool used.
When using the HMI tool HELIO for ctrlX OS, HMI Project as a manufacturer can deliver supplementary services particularly efficiently and smoothly: from training and extensions to individual UX/UI packages.
About HMI Project
HMI Project was founded in 2011 by the designers Markus Buberl and Christian Rudolph in Würzburg and Philipp Kruse joined the team as technical director in 2015. Originally set up as a design studio, HMI Project expanded its portfolio early on to include software development with web technology. After many successful years in the service sector, the interdisciplinary team of 20 designers, usability experts and developers is now incorporating its industry expertise into HELIO's product development, setting new standards for high-quality, web-based HMIs in the industry.
